There may have been riots, looting, arson, and even GBH and murder going on in London, Manchester Liverpool and other cities all across the UK this week, but in Derbyshire, police appeal for the return of a young girl’s stolen Nintendo DS.

Police in Matlock, Derbyshire say that the console was stolen in a burglary at the girl's home in Mettesford in early July. Investigators have now discovered that the girl's DS was sold on at a car boot sale in Tansley on Sunday July 7th.

Officers are asking the person who bought the console to contact them, and state that whoever bought it will not be prosecuted.

The red Nintendo DS has a scratch across the screen, an R4 card in it and was sold without the charger or stylus.

So roll up guys, let's get this girl her DS back! If you have it or know anything, contact Matlock Police Station.
